Siebenrock 1000cc piston 9.5:1.

Fits all 1000cc Nikasil cylinders, including the original BMW cylinders.

At 9.5:1 compression, this kit is an excellent way to restore torque and HP to the low compression engines from 1981-on with parts that have less reciprocating mass for a smoother and more responsive engine.

To lower compression to 8.8:1 use one part number 11 11 1 335 650 base gasket under each cylinder.

Sold individually, for a set order quantity of two.

Kit Includes:

  • Moly coated lightweight 9.5:1 forged piston.
  • Lightweight high performance wrist pin.
  • Set of 4 pin clips.
  • Complete ring set compatible with Nikasil cylinders.

    Specify your cylinder type A, B or C (above) which is stamped at the base of your cylinder.

    I ordered a set of these to use on my 84 R100RS with the low compression 8.2:1 compression from the factory. Because of valve recession had to replace/repair the heads. Ted rebuilt the heads to perfection, so while there I installed a set of these to replace the old stock low compression units. I weighted both the stock pistons and the new Siebenrock units. The old pistons were NOT the same, while the Siebenrock units weighted EXACTLY the same 22.3 oz. a full 3+ oz. less than the stock units. Just returned from a 200+ mountain run with elevations up to 10,000+' (Cameron Pass on CO 14). The difference in performance is MAJOR!! The engine is noticeable smoother and pulls VERY strong in any gear!! Thank you Ted Porter and Siebenrock!! My "little RS" has NEVER run better!!
