The area forward of the rear wheel is left unprotected leaving the shock and engine exposed to debris.

The Mudsling rear fender is custom molded of high impact 3.2 mm ABS plastic in a matte metallic black finish. It provides a forward extension of the rear fender to protect the rear shock, engine and frame from debris thrown by the rear tire.

This really should have been an original equipment item.

Highly recommended when installing aftermarket shocks.

Installation is a snap with two screws and two cable ties (included).
