If you own a Desert X, and you plan on getting it dirty - or even just want to ride it aggressively on the tarmac with a passenger or a significant touring load, this is probably the single most effective upgrade you can make to your bike. The stock shock is woefully under sprung and lacks any significant adjustment - unfortunately typical OEM entry level crap. This is the fix!

Called the suspension shop as I was in need of a new rear shock while in Idaho, the crew got one built and tuned with my needed spring rate and sent it out to my location via general delivery to the local post office. 20 min to swap it out and even faster to fine tune. A must have for the DDX
