Sold by respected BMW Airhead specialists around the world, often under other names and branding, this is the one and only Emerald Island Rebuildable Driveshaft with extra heavy duty German made Elbe U-joints. There are no other aftermarket driveshafts for BMW motorcycles, and as the USA direct importer, Beemershop has the best pricing. 

Equipped with grease fittings and removable circlips, this driveshaft is fully serviceable and built for the long haul. Damper material is also easily replaced, extra set of dampers included. Fully rebuildable, each individual part is available separately, but because it is so much more durable than the original shaft, customers report that the need to rebuild this driveshaft is rare. Includes a one year warranty. 

This shaft is 100% new and complete. Does not require any parts from your old driveshaft and there is no core charge.

Note: The heavy duty Elbe high speed u-joints in this driveshaft are more robust and larger than the original u-joints making it a little tight to install. Driveshaft may need to be held at a 45 degree angle to drop down through the narrow portion of the swingarm. If it doesn't pass through the first time, spin the driveshaft 90 degrees and try again.

It is highly recomended that you use new bolts when replacing the drive shaft. Click the box above to include driveshaft bolts. 

Emerald Island also makes a driveshaft boot specifically for the Paralever models that actually fits the swingarm properly unilke the stock BMW boot which is severely stretched when fitted. BMW never made an appropiate sized boot for the Paralever model swingarms which have a larger opening. If you don't want to fight the boot during installation, the Emerald Island Paralever boot is far easier to install and lasts longer since it is not so severely stretched over the swingarm. U-joints are factory lubed and sealed, but for longest life u-joints can be greased every 30-40k miles. Use NLGI Grade 2 spec with an EP additive, commonly referred to as EP2 grease. One example is Chevron Ultra Duty EP2 grease but any lube meeting these specs is acceptable.
