TracTive X-TREME-PRO-PA Rear Shock: 790/890 Adventure R '19-On

This was not a cheap purchase but I am so glad that I pulled the trigger. The rear stock shock was okay but the TracTive makes it feel so much more alive when on the road. The rear is not nearly as chatty with feedback on the road. It always feels planted now. I also noticed a huge difference for offroad. The bike really soaks up the road/bumps and allows much more confidence on those trails. This upgrade is so worth it so bite the bullet and get it installed. You will not regret it at all.

What I found about the Tractive X-Treme was how much more compliant it was over the little and abrupt edges over rocks on the FS roads and trails I ride in the Sierra. The tools that come with the shock are compact and easy to make changes to [compression] damping. Preload adjustment is a breeze by hand. Fit was easy. Took the Norden 901 Expedition from very good to spectacular. The OEM WP was good but this is a big upgrade from stock. Smooth and lots of adjustability for those very heavy loads. Thanks to Ted for all the support and service.
