Rebuildable driveshaft R1150 models

This top quality balanced and rebuildable driveshaft from Ei is built like an automotive driveshaft with removeable circlips, making it field serviceable. Unlike the stock BMW shaft, all parts are available separately which means this is the last driveshaft you will ever buy for your BMW motorcycle. Uses super duty German made Elbe high speed U-joints which have the largest trunnions available, far more durable than the smaller stock U-joints, plus they have grease fittings.

This shaft is 100% new and complete, includes both front and rear sections. Does not require any parts from your old driveshaft and there is no core charge.

U-joints are factory lubed and sealed, but for longest life u-joints can be re-greased every 30-40k miles. Use NLGI Grade 2 spec with an EP additive, commonly referred to as EP2 grease. One example is Chevron Ultra Duty EP2 grease but any lube meeting these specs is acceptable.
