TFX SPRING / Heavy Duty Rear Spring for the OEM Shock // R1200/1250GSA-LC standard height.

Replacement rear shock spring for the dynamic ESA equipped liquid cooled GSA models in standard height. Black only. For factory low models or standard height GS models see our Yacugar spring upgrade.

If your stock rear shock is still working OK but is not able to carry your weight and loads, this replacement spring from TFX will solve the problem with a 170 N/mm spring (stock spring is 150 N/mm), Great for heavier riders and loads or two up riding. Special tools and know-how is required. Labor charge to install spring on shock (off bike) is $30.00, with generally a one day turnaround. Change the spring yourself with our Yacugar Spring Tool as seen below.

There exists a progressive front replacement spring also but the initial rate is lower than the stock spring so you tend to blow right through the first stage, therefore we don't recommend it. Rider, passenger and luggage loads are all carried over the rear shock spring so this is where the spring rate needs to be increased for some riders.
