TracTive X-TREME Fork Cartridge Kit / Norden 901 '22-On

hey just a long term review of the best suspension ive personally ever rolled on , and ive had several KTM's and other bikes with re-sprung and re-valved boingers... but 20000 or so miles later and i still believe this is the best most balanced set up ive ever rolled on Marvin D. 2022 Norden 901

Having both the X-TREME shock and fork kit I can tell you that it has turned this bike into a whole new machine. APEX forks were just bad. Could never adjust them to feel good anywhere, they bottomed out on water bars and bigger hits so bad it hurt my wrists. Would dive when I hit the brakes coming into corners way too much etc.etc. The TracTive forks are just wonderfully smooth and the damping throughout the stroke provides such a great consistent feel that transforms the bikes capabilities. Plus it boosted my confidence so much when riding it faster through rough sections. So happy with this whole kit and the base setup you all sent was spot on!

TracTive X-TREME (35HQ22-D5307) Fork Cartridge Kit for Norden 901 '22-On also for my 2023 KTM 890 Adventure base model not the R model, some people call it the KTM 890 Adventure S. I installed this fork cartridge kit after installing the TracTive X-TREME-PA Rear Shock (46HQ22-9307-TR) which gave me 220mm front and back suspension travel and WOW it is a game changer for sure on and off road. See my other review of the rear shock, and it is not too tall for this bike cause it just adds 20mm to the front and rear which you can drop the seat down which I did because I was running with the seat height set to the highest settings for leg comfort and now all I can say about my 2023 KTM 890 Adventure with this suspension it just handles so good on the twisty roads as well as soaking up all the off road terrain after I dialed it in for my weight which I am 260lbs, and it's just perfect! Tractive Extreme suspension for my 901 husky = amazing !! worth every red cent and it was a significant cost for me and as a % of the original bikes price but wow the transformation is beyond my words to describe , it is very very good !! highly recommend , post this everywhere Marvin D. 2022 Norden 901.

Ted, Thank you for taking the time to help me understand the difference in suspension between WP's stock fork set up on the Norden and the Tractive X-Treme Fork Cartridge Kit. The kit was shipped quickly, and was easy to install. On my first ride, it was so noticeable how much better the front end reacted both on the road and off road. Now, when I hit water bars, the front end doesn't dive any more. I don't need to push the front end down and compress the fork prior to hitting the bar just so the bike doesn't porpoise over them. Just a quick twist of the throttle and the bike is playful, and so much more responsive! I can't wait for the rear shock. This is such a game changer, if you plan on keeping the bike, this is an absolute must. I haven't even needed to touch the preload, you dialed the fork cartridge kits in for my weight perfectly!
