Gearbox 5 piece Bearing Set without Input Roller Bearing for all Airhead 5 speed transmissions

Bearing Set for all 5 Speed Airhead Transmissions. In some cases the front input shaft roller bearing can be re-used so we offer this kit with or without it since it is the most expensive bearing in the transmission.

Please note, we do not sell the cheaper nylon cage aftermarket front input shaft bearing since failures have been reported. BMW never used a nylon cage bearing in this application. The front input bearing we offer is a bronze caged factory original BMW part.

All bearings are highest quality from SKF or FAG and are the 7 ball type for highest load rating and quietest operation. The original front output bearing from BMW is normally only 6 ball type.

Note: for non Paralever models, simply pop out the seals on the rear output bearing.
