TFX 141 Rear Shock / Rebound, High & Low Speed Compression & Preload Adjustments

TFX 141 shocks provides you the maximum performance and adjustability to meet your demands on and off of the race track. With a multitude of adjustments, you can be sure that you can tune your ride for any condition or situation.

141 shocks include the following features:

  • Designed, Tested, and Manufactured in Holland
  • Available with either Threaded or Hydraulic Preload Adjuster for optimum sag setup. (see *Recommendation, below)
  • Full service capability, ensuring consistent and predictable driving dynamics.
  • Externally adjustable rebound damping
  • Hose mounted Reservoir for ease of installation on bikes with little room for mounting - This also allows for the best mounting position for airflow and cooling
  • Independent High and Low Speed Compression Damping adjustment
  • Can be paired with a variety of spring rates to compensate for varying rider weights + payload requirements
  • Large 16mm chrome induction hardened shock shaft
  • 6082 Hard Anodized Aluminum Cylinder for Maximum Strength & Thermal Stability
  • Low Friction X-Ring Seal Heads with Backup Rings for reliable shaft sealing, even under the most extreme conditions
  • 5 Year manufacturer warranty for workmanship and defects

  • *Recommendation: Please note that it is extremely difficult to access the Threaded Preload Adjuster on this model.  Therefore it is HIGHLY recommended that this product be purchased with the Hydraulic Preload Adjuster option.  The Threaded Preload Adjuster is designed for the rider whose loads do not change and therefore seldom needs to adjust the spring tension on the rear shock.

TFX shocks are engineered and manufactured from the best possible materials to guarantee you a shock you can rely on for many years and will fulfill your needs on the road, trail, or track!

I bght some suspension from you.............last Aprilish............Just got around to installing the shock. (Forks up next). I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical that it would make much difference. Working with a lowered GS and short suspension, how good could it get?? Well..................my mistake. HUGE difference. I have a loop around the Georgetown, CA area that I can test things on. Very rough and bumpy back roads. Roots pushing the pavement up, etc. (Those are about the worst on suspension, in my opinion. That High Speed Compression thing). I was amazed at how well the shock worked. Even so much as I started playing on the root jumps. (Notice........not bumps any longer but jumps). One time, the front pushed on me. Not bad at all. Rear end never skipped out. Which I would expect most of the time. Just Shinko tyres and nothing special about them. I am glad I got the better shock with the adjustments. I might soften the High Speed Compression one click but not now. I’ll get the front sorted out and go on a extended ride to see..........But I do like the idea that it’s there and I have some idea what to do with it. My guess is, that the other shock would have been great too. This one just gives me some added benefits if, when I decide to need them. Thank you........ Dick W. 2009 F650GS Twin

My buddy and I both have 2011 BMW F650GS, and we wanted to upgrade the suspension so as to handle a bit more aggressive trail riding, as well as handle heavy panniers on BDR trips. We saw several mentions of Ted's shop on the advrider.com website and we called Ted up. Ted subsequently took multiple calls (sorry Ted!), patiently explaining what we needed. We ended up buying the TFX 141 reservoir shock with HPA, and having the shop install Racetech cartridge emulators in the front forks. Ted carefully and patiently collected the information needed to properly spec and set up the components. Turnaround time was quick. Ted received our forks on Jan 17, and shipped them back just 2 1/2 weeks later. Ted called me to say they had shipped, and proceeded to describe the low/hi speed damping and rebound rear shock settings he had pre-set according to our weights, and how to properly test ride to fine-tune them. He also mentioned that they had found some corrosion in the front forks and had honed them clean again. Wow... Working with Ted's Beemershop redefines customer service. Ted and his staff are always cheerful, incredibly informative, and responsive. It's been a pleasure. Paul S F650GS
