The Yacugar steering damper by Hyperpro is a great upgrade. It's a linear design which is recommended over progressive designs for adventure bike use. With 24 clicks of damping adjustability, it provides the right amount of damping needed for any environment. This damper will give you better stability on the street, and better control off pavement by reducing the forces transmitted to the handlebars from the front wheel.
Designed specifically for the 2013 R1200GS which was the only year the R1200GS Liquid Cooled model did not have a factory installed steering damper. With easy to follow instructions, and all parts and hardware necessary to install a steering damper on a bike that did not have one originally. Covered by a five year warranty, and it’s fully rebuildable.
