Yacugar Fork Springs / Progressive Fork Springs / F750GS '18-On
YACUGAR FRONT FORK SPRINGS / Progressive Fork Springs // For the BMW F750GS
A Progressive Rate Spring has the advantage of a rising rate resistance to compression. The spring can be soft enough at the start of compression to provide good small bump absorption, yet be firmer later in the compression stroke to resist bottoming and reduce nosedive.
Please note:
5wt oil is recommended for general purpose and for more dirt road riding.
7wt oil is recommended for sport-oriented street riding.
Air chamber is 160mm with springs removed and forks completely compressed.
Instructions for setting air chamber:
1) Remove fork spring and drain old oil.
2) Compress fork fully with spring removed.
3) Add oil until oil level is the prescribed distance from the top of the tube - this is your air chamber.
Forks should be pumped several times to dispel any remaining air before final measurement is made.
